Usnavi is a streetlight frozen to his seat-torn between the home he has created in Washington Heights and his ancestral homeland in the Dominican Republic. This spectacular musical is a lighting design dream-beautiful sunrises, afternoon NYC reflected light, a sweaty dance club, a Con-Edison blackout interrupted by a fireworks show, and misty fire hydrants-all set to amazing music.
