In this small theatre version of the classic musical, the ritz of life on the stage is pitted against the grit of what goes on backstage. What we present to the audience doesn't always reflect the chaos behind the scenes. The lighting plays into that, with crisp, clean lighting for Padua (untill that illusion falls apart) and messy homages backstage.
